  • c=58 error

    I am trying to upgrade a QBProV8 file to QBPro2003. When I rebuild data file prior to upgrading to 2002, I get the following error
    V8.1A R1 (M=1189, L=1990, C=58, V=0 (0)). I hit okay 3 times and off it goes and rebuilds. The log file always shows the same 3 errors.
    If I go ahead and upgrade to 2002, the upgrade process freezes just after the Tax account consolidation. Shut down QB go back in and I have an almost upgraded file (bar the tax accounts not consolidating properly). any one have any suggestions?

    c=58:

    Error computing avg cost in inventory history
    Divide by zero in item history calc.-
    Problem recording the history for inventory item

    Try to determine which item is causing error - check inventory valuation detail for item - see if cost is showing correctly - create new merge old with new - on newer version verify and rebuild should also address the issue
