  • Customers can't open emailed invoices

    Some of my customers cannot open invoices that are emailed through QB using Mail. I have to save those invoices as pdfs and attach them to an email. All customers do not have this problem. One customer is receiving the attachment as an .htm file rather than a PDF. They are using Outlook and have the latest version of Adobe Reader installed.

    Is there a solution for this problem?

    Was a solution to this issue found? Any chance that the affected users were using Windows 10 and Outlook 2016? There have been similar issues caused by erroneous file associations when using Office 2016 and Windows 10.

      I have just recently started having this problem. I am using a Chrome browser. I had to send the pdf version to the client in order for them to pay the invoice. Although it would send through the QB Invoice, the client only saw a link to pay, but not the invoice itself.
