    HELP...

I have been restoring my file with many many backup files. Every data file I try keeps giving me c-44 errors whenever I try to save anything. I do not know what is causing the problem. Please HELP.

This error usually means that your file is corrupted. Have you tried going to File, Utilities, and Verifying your data file?

C=44 usually indicates corrupted data; errors while attempting to write transaction data. Is your backup restoring without errors?

You can keep trying older backups, or recreate your company, or use a guaranteed data recovery service.

c=44 can be a simple form of damage, it depends on when/where you are getting it. Let me know and I'll figure out if there is something else that can be causing it.
