  • QB Premier 2012 and Windows 10

I just upgraded from Windows 7 to Windows 10 and QB Premier 2012 works just fine for me. I have never used the QB servers for e-mail, etc. so I don't want or need a "supported" version.

Glad to hear it, that is one of the few success stories. 2012 was the last year that desktop had that professional look and feel to it, wish I could go back

I was pleasantly surprised when it worked as I really did not want a newer version both for cost and for features, added and taken away. As a Contractor the Job Cost/estimate features are essential so the online version is not a consideration.

Windows 10 is compatible only with QB 2015 and later, you should opt for 2017 and get the extra 2 years of support. It is best to "step up" the conversion, e.g., from 2009 to 2012 to 2015 to 2017, to avoid problems with your file.
