Top 5 Reasons for QuickBooks Hosting

    1. Increase Efficiencies
Access files from anywhere at anytime and collaborate with your team remotely. Work with QuickBooks files even while others are actively working in the same file.

    2. Better IT
Cloud Hosting Providers offer a “managed environment” where your security, updates, backups and maintenance are handled by experts remotely. You simply log in and focus on your work.

    3. Minimize Risk of Loss Data
Should anything catastrophic occur at the office, such as a natural disaster, your important business information will be intact and accessible from anywhere.

    4. Work Smarter
Small businesses can manage their IT finances better with a predictable, low monthly payment. Your accountant or bookkeeping services will no longer need to manage books in the office. They can log in and access your data in real-time; remotely.

    5. Stay Competitive
Technology is rapidly evolving. In order to stay ahead of the competition and provide a better service for their customers, accounting firms and small businesses are switching from traditional IT to Cloud Hosting Providers.

VyonCloud (www.vyoncloud.com) has all the advantages of QuickBooks cloud hosting and more with competitive pricing, 24x7 customer support, free migration to the cloud, and a 15-day free trial.

    Excellent points

Excellent points made here! I generally advocate that small businesses use quickbook for their book keeping services instead of Xero or MYOB. Succintly summarised, made for an informative read.

Totally agree with the points mentioned. I'd like to add following things to the list -

      a) Along with obvious cloud benefits, hosting QuickBooks Desktop version also provides additional features such as integration with other third-party business applications such as Fishbowl, Salesforce, Bill & Pay etc. that too with remote accessibility, multiple user collaboration, etc.

      b) The accustomed user-interface with QuickBooks desktop version also makes it a better choice over QuickBooks Online version.

      c) Hosting QuickBooks Desktop in the cloud also comes up with dedicated support from service provider itself. That reduces the additional cost for IT team.

      d) Some provider such as Ace Cloud Hosting offers built-in business continuity and disaster recovery service with QB cloud hosting services that make sure your business is always up and running and there is no downtime.

Here are the top 5 benefits of cloud-enabling your QuickBooks Desktop:

        1. Collaboration
Helping your clients, of course, means working with them. And while sorting through their paper-based documents might be the form of collaboration that some clients are used to, increasingly more expect service in real-time. And in a time when you can lower your thermostat at home while you’re in a plane heading in the opposite direction, why shouldn’t they?

With a cloud-enabled solution, a client gains the ability to login and access their financial data from any device or location, and so do you.

        2. Simplicity
Running the traditional, local instance of your accounting software is a lot of responsibility. And it might not feel that way until there is a problem. But when there is a problem, your entire business is at risk. IT burdens like network maintenance, security patches and upgrades, and application upgrades all take time and energy. With a managed cloud environment, you get away from playing IT consultant (or paying IT consultants) and get back to helping your clients.

        3. Security
Week after week, it seems, another major company hack hits the news. It can be easy, even tempting, to tune this out. Perhaps you think that your information isn’t at risk or isn’t “important” enough to be the target of a security breach. It’s unlikely that your clients would agree about the importance of their own data. And protection is paramount when so much personal information is online.

Reputable cloud providers encrypt communications and have sophisticated firewalls and backup systems in place that most smaller firms and organizations can’t achieve on their own.

        4. Backups
Cloud solutions don’t just protect you from outside intruders or events. They also bring you security through backups by providing protection against a natural disaster, like a hurricane or fire, or even an electrical outage that brings your local servers offline.

Disasters can also hit on a smaller, though no less devastating scale. An employee leaving a water bottle open in their carry-on – or perhaps having a laptop stolen out of their rental car – is no longer a major problem when you’re running your business in the cloud.

        5. (… All Together Now…) Productivity
When you’re cloud-enabled, the entire book of business that you manage is visible to you – and to those that you designate – in one computing environment. This doesn’t just make it easier to run your business, it makes it far more scalable. Full access to client files means that you can standardize your offerings. No more worrying about supporting different QuickBooks versions or missing client information.
