Filters for Sales Tax And Shipping Charges

I am currently using QB Pro 2002. I have been unable to filter out sales tax or shipping charge from the sale rep. report. I use the subtotal item and then add sales tax and shipping charges, however the sale rep. report keeps these added charges in the report. I see there is a recent message from another member with the same problem. Hopefully we will get some responses.
