Field breakdown in report

We upgraded from Quickbooks 4.0 to Quickbooks Pro 2003 multiuser earlier this year. While trying to create a customized report for listing of customers, I found out the bill-to and ship-to address info were all entered in the address field instead of just the address there then have the city, state and zip in their own respective fields. To make matters worst, the customer name was also entered as the first line of the address field thereby making the address field at least 3 lines long but often more as the telephone number was added to the end.

When generating a report with the customer name and address, I should only use the ship-to or bill-to field to get all these info. The problem is the whole thing goes in one long line even though the info was entered as multiple lines in the field. My question is how do I make this field print as multiple lines in the same way as how the data was entered? Please note there are other fields being printed for the report.

Example:

ABC Company 123 Main Street, New York, NY 12345 (212) 555-1212

Should print as:

ABC Company
123 Main Street
New York, NY 12345
(212) 555-1212

Cool

You might want to look for a possibility to Export the report to MS Excel and make the changes you need
