Quickbooks for Retail- Need help

Just starting off using QB and I own a retail shop. At the end of the day I do a final report that shows the total sales, non tax totals, taxable totals, total discounts given, and the total amount that was paid in visa/mc, discover, amex and cash.

1. I want to know if these reports can be imported right into QB?

2. If not, where would I set up a "daily report" that would include all of the above that I keep record of?

your probably giong to need to do a journal entry each day for your sales.

credit all your sales accounts. debit your checking accounts for the cc payments. debit undeposited funds for the cash and checks that you will be taking to the bank. then go to banking make deposits and select the payments to deposit. this ensures that your deposit in QB matches your actual deposit slip taken to the bank. if you were to just put them all to checking right within yoru journal entry, you would have to try to add them up to do your bank reconcilation. clear as mudd?
