Unhappy Printer is slow in printing invoices

We are having problems printing invoices. The problem is that the printing processes are taking too long in processing the information before printing starts.

We have deleted and reinstalled the printer driver, but there is no change. It appears to take twice the normal time for these processes to occur. We are using HP 750 as the printer.

Any thoughts on this will be appreciated.

I have had similar problems with HP printers in the past. It seems that HP's printer drivers are memory-hungry, and since QB is too, they are having a little fight over who's getting your PC's memory. I can only suggest you pile in as much RAM as you can on your PC and try to minimise the number of applications and QB windows open.

Printer Problems--printers not printing

Thank you for the prompt response. We have installed the maximum RAM in the system. We are still having problems with the printer initial speed.

We are having problems with the printers not printing after a period of time. At times there are jobs in the queue. Other times there are no jobs in the queue.

We have performed almost every troubleshooting method that I am aware. We have not investigated an exorcist, but ...

We run no other application on this computer and we are not connected to the Internet. Just Quickbooks Pro and that is it.

Any thoughts on this are appreciated.
