Item Lists
Can you have more than one Item List. For example, I have several clients and some of the clients have different prices than the rest of the clients on the same product. (Blue paint for ABC Co. is $10/gallon but blue paint for BCD Co. is $15/gallon). Can you have separate items lists or do you have to have it on the same list with a different name?

are these truly different products? or just different pricing for the same product? You can create discount schedules for customers off a base or list price.
If they are different products, then you need separate parts for them. I have also just manually changed prices for somethings on the Sales Receipt as well on a case by case basis. Last edited by g2ktcf; 09-07-2011 at 03:17 PM. |

g2ktcf :
You are correct. They are the same product with different prices depending upon the customer. Would you mind telling me how to create discount schedules for customers off a base or list price? |

under the EDIT CUSTOMER window you will see a tab marked "Additional Info"
On this page, look for "Price Level". Click "New and then you can name your Price level by the customer's name. The pricing levels can be a % or per Item. If you chose, per item, then expect to fill in the ENTIRE Item list with a new set of prices for this "price level" I have not used this so you need to test the functionality (I do not trust Quickbooks stuff to work.. )
