Problem with dbextclr11.exe

I have Quickbooks Premier 11 using the Non-Profit Edition and when I leave it open for 5 minutes why does my screen go blank when the program dbextclr11.exe run? I have to run Windows Task Manager and end the process to get my screen back.

Thank you

What process do you run?

What process are you running in QB when the dbextclr11.exe initiates?

The file is associated with databases apparently

dbextclr11 update?

I am still having the problem and it seems no one in Intuit or in the forums has a solution? Intuit expert had a webinar with me and couldn't find the problem. He asked me to do a print screen of the error message that is in task manager I did that but no reply. Anyone have a solution to the problem, please advise. Big Mahalo from Hawaii

Checked other forums and located some info.
The issue may be with .NET (surprise!!) or .NET may not see/find the following files: dbextclr11.exe, dbextenv11.dll, dbclrenv11.dll. Use Search and see if they are installed on the PC.
Also, locate dbextclr11.exe and check properties for the version.
]Is it (11.0.1.20442)
or (11.0.1.24052).

dbextclr.11 problem

I checked the version and it is version 11.0.1.24052. When i deleted it quickbooks never went to the black screen. However when I went back into quickbooks after logging out it installed the file back in. So it seems it is a windows function. Any other suggesstions of how to disable it.

Thanks

Try uninstall ALL .NET software with a restart between each one and then install .NET 3.0 and it's updates. .NET has caused other wired issues!
