How to delete an accidental payment in Payments Received?

I accidentally entered a dollar amount in Received Payments for a customer where the balance was already zero. Now this customer automatically has a credit. Would someone know how I can delete it?

  • Go back into the "Receive Payments" screen & click on the "Previous" arrow button at the top. Keep clicking on this button until the incorrect transaction is displayed.
  • Once the incorrect payment is displayed, click on "Edit" (along top toolbar), then click on "Delete Payment" from the dropdown menu.
NB: Most transactions can be deleted in this way.
