Reconciliation Problem

QB Pro 2009. I had to cancel all of last years reconciles and start again. I finished Jan through July and ran into a problem:

I reconciled July 2008 and it was at -72.00 when finished. When it open up again I went to reconcile it defaulted to September with - 10,935! It skipped August.

I tried to "Undo last recociliation" but got "There are no prev. ones".

I went to a screen where I was able to print out the Recocialtion detail from the past month. It showed the month ending 7/31/08. So it did skip August.
