Sales receipts price tax included

I decided to sell a product for a certain price with the sales tax included. Is there a way to fill out the sales receipt to reflect this without having to calculate the actual retail price of the item, i.e., just to fill in say 500$ sale price and have qb calculate the sales tax for the receipt?

Second question. some people don't like to see that they paid sales tax. Sometimes just the final price would show on a written receipt. Is this at all possible in qb? I would suspect not.

I don't know where you are located, but most states require the tax be shown separately.

What kind of customers "don't like to see that they paid sales tax"?? It's not as if you're doing something different than any other place they spend their money. The sales tax has to be separate, or you can't create the reports you need and turn that money over to the state.
