Upgrade from older backup

I have a data backup disk run on Quickbooks version 6.0. My hard drive and CD with the 6.0 software were destroyed. Can I install Quickbooks Pro 2002 and restore data directly from this backup disk??

Yes you can do this. The 2002 version will recognize that the data is from an older version and will update it accordingly.

Great idea.
If only you could!
But you can't. Sorry.
