Does anyone know how to run a sales report by Zip Code?

Try running a "Sales by Customer Detail" report for the period and customers you are interested in. Then modify the report to add the column "Name Postal Code" (that's in the Canadian edition; you should have "Name Zip Code"). Use Modify Report to remove any columns you don't need. Export to Excel and sort the data and run pivot tables for summaries.

Pivot tables in Excel are hard to get your head around the first few times, but it's worth the effort because they are a powerul tool. Try googling "Excel pivot table". There are many free examples of how these tables work - find one that is similar to your situation, and follow it step by step. You will be able, for example, to get a total of sales for each product in each zip code.

Pivot tables are one of my favorite tools in Excel! Wows the client every time!
An alternative Barkmark would be to sort by the zip code and do subtotals. A little easier than Pivot tables, and another valuable skill worth learning.
