If you are asking about printing only make sure you have the box at the bottom of the invoice screen checked that says "To Be Printed". Then to print, go to File, Print Forms, Invoices and choose the ones you want to print from there. If you are asking about creating invoices in a batch rather than individually then each month's invoices would have to be the same. You would create the first invoice and "memorize" it. You have the choice to have that invoice automatically created each month. You can create a series of invoices and place them in a group also. Just make sure you mark off the To Be Printed Box before memorizing. To memorize press Control-M when the invoice is the way you want it.

So you can bulk print/e-mail invoices?

I have appr 200 invoices to print or e-mail monthly, quarterly, or yearly for a service at a fixed (although-tiered) fee. Some are to be e-mailed, some printed.

Can this be done automatically? Or does it require manual updates M/Q/A to generate invoices?

Could you explain this a bit more, Suzanne? I'm confused about the idea that there's a batch of invoices to go out (a batch, I'm suspecting, being a bunch). So, you create one invoice, memorize it and...well, how does that send out a batch?

Thanks,

Starkman

If you have invoices that are the same each month you can memorize each invoice when you first create it. When you memorize it the program gives you the option of being reminded about these invoices or automatically creating them. Memorize the first invoice without any reference to specific dates since that is what will be reporduced each month. Just make sure your wording on the invoice is general rather than specific to a time period. Make sure you click on "To Be Printed" before you memorize. If you set this up to create the invoices automatically all you will have to do each month is go to Print Forms and you will see them listed there for you to print. You will have to create the first invoice to each customer separately, but after you memorize, you won't have to do this again. Why not create a "test" invoice and memorize it to see how it works. You can always delete it.

Just wanted to throw this out .... There is also a cool program from www.q2q.us that is an Invoice Duplicator; for some things this works better than the memorized way.
