Letter "T" at the end of amount

When I add items into quotation QB adds letter “T” to the amount in the Amount field. "T" appears only on the print version of the quotation. Screen version does not have "T". How to get rid of this “T” in the print version?

"T" usually indicates the item is taxable. Are you sure it is on the print and not the screen image. Usually it is the opposite.

It's working correctly, if you want to indicate a line item is taxable a T appears on the print version (not the screen). To get rid of it, go to Edit Preferences and in the Sales Tax section, deselect the check mark that says Mark Taxable Amounts with T When Printing.

My invoice screen has the far right column showing "T" for tax and the letter T is printed alongside the taxed amount when printed.
