Frequently used journal entries
I have about 15 journal entires that I make every month, however the dollar amounts change. Is there a way to remember journal entries that I can pull up, edit the totals and enter these entries without having to re-key the GL accounts each time? I believe this is different than memorized transactions.?

It is the memorized transaction feature that you want.
Create the journal entry that you need to recur, leaving the amounts as zero (unless the amount also recurs). Add any memo fields that you want to recur. . .memorize this transaction (Ctl-m). Set it up to remind you monthly and set the next date in the date field. When I have numerous monthly journal entries, I name them MJE depreciation, MJE accrued payroll, or whatever. . .I find this helpful, keeping those adjusting entries together on my mem tx list. . . Go back to your journal entry window and create the second one as the first. . .Ctl-M to memorize and choose New (not Replace). . .name it, and continue until all are memorized. You might want to set your desktop up to open with the mem tx list already open and/or put the mem tx icon on your Icon Bar. . . If you have any recurring j/e that are the same $ amount, you can set them up to auto enter. . . Hope this is helpful. . . Laura
