Invalid Installation Key Code

I am still using QuickBooks Pro. 6.0 because I like it better than newer versions. Tried to re-install on a new computer replacing my old one and QuickBooks indicated the Installation Key Code is invalid even though it shows as correct on my old computer.
Intuit says that they don't support Pro Ver. 6.0 any longer and can't help me.

Anyone any ideas why installation key code shows as invalid?

I instead of 1 or l..
0 instead of O..

Also be sure you're entering the actual Installation Key Code and not the old Registration #. The Key Code (in the US versions) is located on a bright orange sticker. The old registration# is entered in another area after the install completes.
