Just install QB on the new computer.

To get the company file from one computer to the other and all of your data such as my documents, etc:

If you can, hook the two computers together on a lan and copy all the data from one computer to the other.

Burn a CD or DVD with the data.

install a second hard drive in the 98 machine and copy all of your data to the second hard drive. Pop the new hard drive into the new machine as a slave and grab all of your old data at your leisure.

You can just copy a backup file of your company file and then do a restore on the new machine. A backup file is much smaller than a company file.
