Report on Puchase Orders

I need to create a report that includes the (my) sales price associated with the open Purchase Orders totalled by class. The only problem I have is that QB thinks that Sales Price and Cost are the same when generating a report of purchase orders. I need this to project profits based on items on order for specific salespeople which I have set up as class.
