Remove payment from deposit

I am trying to remove some payments that were made multiple times this year on the same invoice. I followed the directions in the 'help' menu, and I didn't get the same screen it told me I should. How can I delete the payment from the deposit so I can get rid of these double and triple payments? Thanks a bunch! Leigh

You can't delete a payment from a deposit. You must write down your details and then bring up the deposit on the screen and click on Edit, Delete Deposit. Then locate the payments that you want to delete and delete each one individually. You should be able to see them on a Transaction By Customer Report. Just click on them to go to the transaction.
