Connecting to CitiBusiness Online

Hi. I do my online banking through CitiBusiness Online. This was set up when I started my business, and through the CitiBusiness website I can track both my business account and my personal account.

When I connected Quickbooks to my CitiBusiness account, Quickbooks set up and downloaded transactions from both my business and personal accounts. My understanding is that it is best practice to use Quickbooks for business only, so I don't want my personal account there.

Since I just joined Quickbooks, I am going to wipe the data and start again. But when I reconnect to CitiBusiness, does anyone know how I can just connect to my business information?

Thank you.

OK. So I was able to answer my own question. I am posting this here for anyone else who has this question:

When I log into my CitiBusiness Online account, it shows me my Business checking account and my Personal checking account. Only after I select "Checking" in the dropdown menu in an account will the √ mark appear. That mark indicates that the account will be connected to QuickBooks.

So I did this for my Business account only; it got the √ mark; and it was the only account connected.

This seems logical after I did it, but the first time around I checked off both accounts, and I had to wipe my data and start over.
