Item Code, splitting account allocation

Hello there,

Does anyone know if it is possible to split the account allocation for an item?

I would like to be able to create a line item for my customer invoices however for the one line item I would like to be able to split it between two (potentially three) accounts. Is this possible? how do you do it?

I am using Reckon Accounts Enterprise 2014.

thank you in advance!

Hi Rustler, thanks for the post. I have looked into creating groups but that doesn't quite work with our internal software.

Basically I want to reduce the number of line items we have on our client's invoices.

For example I want to combine say labour costs and parts costs into one line item on the invoice but want them split into separate accounts (ie labour and parts).

Thank you

Only way to do that is with a group item set to not print any items

If you are ordering the items and mark them billable to the customer, when you use time costs to bring those over to the invoice, there is a setting for bring all items as a single line item

other than that, sorry QB will not do it
