Welcome aboard. Yes, this is a terrific forum. You can find answers to most issues by searching topics related to your QuickBooks version. Some resolutions cross platforms, so give that a whirl, too.

Personally, I'm an oldbie to accounting but a newbie to QB - except for a short stint fifteen years ago. Super easy program to use, but it has its quirks. Most issues seem to crop up when somebody wants it to do more than it was designed to do. Like trying to take a Honda Civic four-wheeling!
