Toolbar is blank
Hi guys... searched high and low on this. My company toolbar is devoid of any icons. It is a blank, gray strip. It has lost all its icons and its previous settings. Not sure why.
I've tried: a) adding items to toolbar (doesn't work) b) customizing toolbar c) deleting preferences (doesn't work) d) starting, restarting, rebooting (nope) e) rebuilding database even though Verify says nothing is wrong (nope) f) opening sample company (tool bar appears for the sample company, but not mine). I'm at my wit's end. Anyone know what this is about? I'm on QB Mac 2011 that I use both on a Macbook Pro running Lion and a Macbook air running Mountain Lion. |

Have you tried company>show company toolbar?

Um...
I guess I should have mentioned, in addition to my laundry list of stuff I did, I did the most obvious of all, Show Company Toolbar. Yes, I did, obviously.
Anyone else been through this issue? |

I haven't see this. You only have the menu bar at the top?

At the top
Well, yes, I only have a menu bar up top. When I Show Company Toolbar it is just a sliver of a bar. When you expand it (by clicking the green gel cap) it expands to fill the width of the screen and appears to be a full size Company Toolbar, but lacking any icons, or any of the custom settings I've had for at least 10 years.
I've seen several other posts that have the same issue, but no one seems to have an answer. Very bizarre. |

All I have found so far is the problem with no solution. I assume the results are the same on both computers? There was a screen resolution at one point but I have no idea if that has been addressed in 2011, it was in one of the 2012 releases. The only other thing I can think of to try is start your Mac in safe mode to confirm no other app is the culprit.
