Finding expenses not billed to a Job:Customer

Hi - i am running QBPro 2017 and am trying to find a way to find expenses that i have not allocated to a job. I've seen a few YouTube videos that show you how to do this on QBPro 2012 (or earlier) that don't seem to work on 2017. Can anyone tell me how to run a report and customize it so that i can see any expenses i haven't assigned to a job?

Thx
Ron

Starting with the top menu bar, see if clicking on the following in order listed give you what you are looking for:
  • Reports
  • Job, Time & Mileage
  • Unbilled Cost by Job

Perhaps a general ledger report using only expense accounts filtered on Job Status?

I created a Job:Customer named "unassigned" as a holding place for unassigned expenses until I know where to assign them.
Running a report on that customer should give you what you need
