QB Premier 2015 -invoicing US customer

I use QB Premier 2015 Cdn edition to track inventory and for invoicing.

I turn on multicurrency but did not set up a 'bank' as I don't think I'd need it. Anyway, I have the home currency as CDN yet when creating an invoice for a US customer, the invoice shows the cdn amount and not the US amt.

e.g.
the invoice total is $75 Cdn and the xch rate was (Dec 21/16) $1 CAD = $0.7448 USD. The amt on the invoice shows 75.00 CDN.

Shouldn't it be the US amt that goes to the customer?

thanks
