Viewing Transactions in "Retained Earnings"

I am the treasurer for an association of volunteer firefighters and am trying to give a member a report of the transactions that he made in 2015 and 2016, YTD, for a committee he ran. All the transactions I want to appear were credited/debited to a specific ( the same ) subaccount.

When I run the report for the period 04/01/15 to 03/03/16, everything in 2016 is listed separately, BUT everything done in 2015 is rolled into a single line titled "retained earnings." How do I get the 2015 transactions to appear individually?

Thanks,

JBP

Retained Earning in 2016 is the summary of ALL of 2015 P&L. There should not be ANY transactions except for journal entries to show distributions from that equity account.
To get the report for a single income/expense account, open the account and select the account and run the QuickReport for it and set the date range you want.

Hi, Joe, thanks for your reply. I did what you suggested and the results aren't what I want. THAT report shows everything in 2016 just fine, but all the 2015 transactions are all rolled into one line, labeled "retained earnings."

However someone else passed on that a "P & L, detail: would work and IT DOES.

Thanks for taking the time to reply.
