How to Create Bi-Product Assembly in QUICKBOOKS

Hi,
We are manufacturing of Washing Powder most of our raw materials comes in Drums and Bags, and that empty drums and bags further we resell in market on proper invoice.
But from Build Assembly we get only WP as finished goods, how I can be able to get empty drums and bags from that assembly too?

An assembly item uses inventory, it does not create a new item or add qty to an item already created - other than the assembly itself

since the raw material is purchased in the container, that container is part of the item cost, when the container is empty it has no cost. You can create an inventory item with zero value and zero cost, and just increase stock on hand manually with inventory adjust, or just sell the container using a service item.
