Hey, all
I noticed that there are a lot of questions about exporting things from QuickBooks to Excel, so I wrote a quick blog post about how to do this task. Anyway, hopefully it'll help someone out http://www.proongo.com/blog/how-to-e...ooks-to-excel/

Hi Amber. I am hoping you can help me. I want to export a report to Excel, but when I go to the Excel button, the only option that is available to me (others are greyed out) is export to CSV file. Is there any way I can change this?
Thanks! Jaime |

Hi,
Here's a link to the help page from Intuit about this problem: http://support.quickbooks.intuit.com...icles/SLN40937 Also, here's a fix from the community forums: http://community.intuit.com/posts/re...t-fixed-for-me Just fyi, CSV files can be opened using excel - typically there can be some formatting errors, though, so people prefer to use the excel file types. Hope that helps!

What version or Excel or Windows Office do you have installed?
What is your version of QuickBooks?
