Becoming Certified Pro Advisor

Has anyone on this forum become certified? Is it worth the cost in terms of higher salary or picking up side jobs?

I am not yet, but I am planning to do so this year. I think it would advantageous to do so as you stand out from the regular proadvisors.

I am not aware of much cost difference from the Canadian side.

I am certified. i would not anticpate your job bumping your salary much if at all for this. Maybe they will pay for the course for you. If you are looking to pick up your own bookkeeping clients on the side, this can help you some.
