where are templates?!?!

After upgrading from pro2007 to 2014, I find no place to select my custom check template for printing my checks... after a lot of googling and help topics, it seems templates and all to do with them (import, exprt, etc etc) should be on the Lists menu. But no, not there, not anywhere...

Oddly, my old custom invoice template is available to select from a drop down when in invoicing mode, but no such option for checks I can see.

Still I think the larger problem is no access to any templates at all, or any function to utilize them in 2014. Pro 2007 was fine, again wondering why I bother to update anything.

What am I missing? I need to write checks obviously... any help is appreciated.
Thanks

QB uses pre printed checks. There are no check templates in QB Mac.

yes I forgot that in my search for options as my checks began printing incorrectly. And the selection for QB check format has moved between version and OS updates, I finally found it in a less than obvious printer dialog box.
Still, all advice and instruction indicates templates should be on my Lists menu (even if irrelevant to checks), is that incorrect?

and thank you, btw...

No, all templates are in the associated form windows in the header section.

sorry, we are talking around each other.. I'm now trying to discern if there is some problem with my QB installation. All instruction and support advice is that the templates are on the Lists menu, with import/export functions etc... They are NOT, on mine.
To anyone's knowledge, is the instruction incorrect? Or my installation?
Thanks again.

It sounds like you are looking at QB Windows instructions and support advise. There are no templates in the list menu on QB Mac. If you are in the invoice window look at the header section for "current template" Expand that window to show the template list.
