Cloud Hosting for Quickbooks Desktop

I am currently using the UK Enterprise Solutions version (now sadly no longer supported or sold by Intuit). Because I need access when I am out of the country, I have to restore a portable file to my laptop before I leave and when I return. Very messy. I would like to consider the possibility of having my desktop version hosted in the cloud for convenience sake. Intuit has approved providers but they are all based in the USA. From past experience, I know that can be a nightmare if something goes wrong.

Are there any forum users who currently have their desktop version hosted in the cloud and if so, with whom and how have they found it?

Appreciate any thoughts on the subject. Thanks.

Note - I would be very, very reluctant to use the QuickBooks online version!!

Hi Lynne,

There are many hosting service provider in the market with whom you can host your Quickbooks on the cloud.

you can choose MyQbHost, first go with the free trial, they don't ask card detail on trial period. so I would suggest try the services if you like it then go ahead.

Hi, Lynne.
One option, (you may have tried already!) is remote access. It can be free, and you can access you home computer that hosts the QB's, from anywhere in the world.
May not be ideal in every case, but works for me!
I use remote desktop and sometimes Team viewer
