How to lock entries after check and audit?

HI,
How to keep safe the transactions in quickbooks from changes once you verify and check the transaction?
In other softwares there is a "Post Transactinos" option once you post the transaction no other user will be able to make changes to that transactions.
In quickbooks i didn't find this feature except "set closing date", but "set closing date" is better option only for closing yearly books of account not suitable option for routine checking.
Please is there any alternative?

Regards

No there is no other option

Set closing date in QB only passwords protects the file from edits before the closing date - it does not do traditional accounting closing entries
