Mileage on Time Sheets
I just posted this in the "Suggestions" Thread but I thought i would try here also.
Is there a way to enter mileage on time sheets so that it shows on the employee's paycheck as an addition to net pay? I also need it to transfer to customer invoices the same way hours do. |

Timesheets cannot be used to track mileage, because it is limited to 24 hours per day.

It is possible to enter more than 24 hours/units in time sheets. You simply get a warning that you have entered more than 24. Click "ok" and you can enter whatever number you want.
I use timesheets to enter time and mileage for subcontractors who are vendors. If the name is in the vendors list you do not have to enter a payroll item on each line. This works perfectly for my purposes. However, if the name is an employee you are required to enter a payroll item. The problem is, you can only enter payroll items that are an hourly wage. It will not let you enter additions or deductions. These have to be entered by hand when you create the paycheck. If it were possible to enter "Additions" in time sheets, that would solve my problem. |
