Add notes to transaction in my register

Is there a way I can add notes to a transaction in my register? It would be helpful if I could add what the charge was for, etc.

When I look in my register, I see a whole bunch of transactions with little to no detail about it. I would like to be able to put in information so it would be easy to identify when I look at it.

If the transaction is a Check, you can enter that information in the detail field. If the transaction in Bill-Pmt, the information should be on the Bill and WILL NOT show in the check regisgter.
