QB completely shuts down

I am running W10 Anniversary with all updates. Two weeks ago, this problem started about 7 out of 10 times. I created an invoice and attempt to email it. I use Outlook 2016. Always worked well. The emails do get sent but I get an error message code: 16339 89985 and a QB screen form asking what I have done. I reply to the message on the form and the second (form) screen appears thanking me. I press "OK". I donít have any other choice. At that time QB completely shuts down. Checked and my QB 2016 and all updates are loaded. Appreciate any guidance.

since this happens irregularly you will have to try this until it happens again or you are convinced that fixes it

to open QB, right click on the desktop icon and select run as admin. That option is a windows admin not the QB log in admin

If it work fine over a period of time, the problems is related to the anniversary update for win10 > User permissions

I have no ides how to fix user permissions in win10, but when you get it fixed permanently, please post the step by step so we can all learn - thanks.

Rustler, thank you for the recommendation. I gave it a few more days and the problem seemed to sold itself. Maybe the QB support team saw my messages and fixed it.

Again thank you for taking the time to help me.

Upgrading to the Windows 10 Professional version increases the ease of changing permissions.

But first, try this: https://community.intuit.com/article...-company-files
