Can't find transfer

I transferred an amount from one bank account to another. The deposit shows in the second account, but the withdrawal does not show up in the first account. Anyone have any idea why?

Did you use the Transfer Funds feature in QB. Open the transfer you made and check that both accounts used are the ones intended. you must have used the wrong account in the transfer from field.

I looked several times before leaving the message and was convinced I had used the correct account. So now I looked once more--closer, this time, and discovered I did use the wrong account; it has nearly the same name, so it tricked me.
