Drop down gone!

Has anyone had the "drop downs" show up blank? It just started happening...when I type in any field (customer, vendor, accounts, etc) the pop up window that shows the lists appears blank. OMG...never realized what a time saver that feature is! Anyone know how to get it back?

Simple things first....

Are you sure you didn't make them inactive? To check go to your customer list and in the view dropdown select ALL customers. If any are inactive they will show up there.

If that fails....

You probably need to resort your lists. Go to your write check window and go to the payee line. Hit ctrl-L and it will bring up your list menu. At the lower left click "Name" and resort list.

If that fails....
Run a verify and rebuild in your file>utilities menu.

If that fails....

Make a backup copy and restore it. Sometimes this will bring back missing customer or vendor names.

Glad it worked for you. I don't know WHY the names list disappear but resort usually fixes it.
