Memorized Installment Payments

Hi All,
New here.

I think I'm having one of those low IQ moments with an otherwise simple task.
I have a $1500 bill that is to be paid in 3 installments. OK, enter a memorized transaction for three months at $500. Simple.
Question is should not A/P or at least Vendor Detail reflect $1500? Or somewhere? Can't enter a bill for $1500 as it will not allow you to change amount in the Mem Trans window.

Ahh just thought of it.
Could it be as simple as entering three bills for their respective due dates? Or would I have to enter a memorized transaction for each.

Thanks

I would enter the 3 Bills with the Date and Due Date set to there actual due date.
