Registration of Software?

I am an accountant who is installing and setting up Quickbooks for a church -- the church is my client (i'm not an employee). The software will be installed on the two church computers which are used by the bookeeper -- single user liscense.

Would there be any problem with me installing it and registering it on my own home computer first before first installing it on the Chuch computers?

Could i use my email in the registration form and then change it to the client email after they're up and running? (That way i could receive the registration confirm myself and review before forwarding it to client.)

My thought was if i did have any problem i'd just return the software for a refund. Then buy another copy and start all over, registering QB on Church computers.

I'm new to the setting up of QB. As a CPA with a tax background i've used QB extensively and have informally trained clients. But clients have always had QB installed and running before i got to them. Any advice would be welcomed.

Thanks for reading.

You can register QuickBooks on one computer at work, and 1 computer at home, in any order. It will not cause the problems.

Oleg, thanks for the response.

Now i understand that this church has an older computer. If the computer is so old that it can't run QB then they'll get a newer one. Will registering the software on the third computer, the newer computer, be an issue provided that it will no longer be used on the old computer?

I'm wonderin if it's prudent for me to run QB on the old computer before registering it. If it's not an issue i'll register it immediately so the client wont get that reminder that keeps popping up.

From your question I see there is more than 1 user involved: you and the client. If that's the case, according to EULA you should have 2 licenses for QuickBooks.
