Files saved to desktop

I recently moved my QB program data to a MAC and am using QBPro12; it is installed on PARALLELS - a program that divides the Mac and allows Windows 7 to be installed. It is on Windows7 on the Mac that I installed QB12.

Every time I go into QB to write checks, do a report, balance the account, etc. the QB file I am working on shows up on the desktop of the MAC portion of the computer. for example: TMM.ND and TMM.TLG. TMM is the company file. I checked the ND file extension and was informed it is not to be deleted. I could not find any TLG extension. After a while a lot of these files are on the desktop and I don't know what to do with them or how they got there. I backup to a disc, not the computer. Any ideas??

Here are the extensions used by QuickBooks (Windows version). The * is the file name.

*.ND - QuickBooks Network Data File (QuickBooks 2006 and later)
*.QBA - File used by accountant's review (QuickBooks for Windows 5.0 and later)
*.QBB - QuickBooks for Windows backup file (all versions)
*.QBI -Image file, "holds" transactions that have been written until they are posted to the hard drive (all versions)
*.QBM - QuickBooks portable file (QuickBooks 2006 and later)
*.QBW - QuickBooks for Windows data file (all versions)
*.QBX - Backup made for Accountant's copy of user's company file. When Accountant restores this, it is an Accountant's Copy of the file. (QuickBooks for Windows 5.0 and later)
*.QBY - Accountant's copy import file (QuickBooks 2007 and later)
*.TLG - Transaction log file. Keeps track of changes to the file since the last backup. (QuickBooks 2006 and later)

Should I delete the files off the desktop? Or how can I keep them from popping up on the MAC desktop?J
