Upgraded to Quickbooks '12/'13

Hi All,
Just upgraded to Quickbooks 2012/13. When I click on its icon it starts loading then jumps straight to the taskbar where you cannot view it.
Anyone else had any issues??

I have a shortcut of the actual data base on my desktop and just double click on it, it comes from another computer I find this works well especially when I am mucking around in a dummy account, then I know I have not opened the wrong account by mistake
