yes I did do pay payroll liabilities

for this one particular client (I should have mentioned this was done for a client's account) SS goes to one entity (a bank) and withholding, medicare goes to another entity (IRS). It is confusing and pointless to me, but that is what they do.

"You can open up the liability payment from the check register and just change the payee if needed. "
Is it possible that changing the payee through the check register can be locked? I can change the payee for cleared normal checks but cleared payroll liability checks it does not work. I did rush it when I did it at work so I will try again tomorrow morning but I was curious if it was possible to lock payroll liabilities after entering and clearing them.

Thanks a bunch for your help.
