    Hi Lisa,
I am trying to print the Donor Contribution Summary and I am trying to type a two line message in the footer and there is not enough room. Do you know how I can add two lines of text to each page?

Hi Lisa, I'd like to explore strategic partnering ideas with you. Maybe we could start with a screen-share demo of our product and go from there? Thanks... Dan (619) 605-6318

    Lisa,

Are you aware that the following link in your signature block doesn't lead to any information about your presentations...at least it didn't for me. I was just looking, curious to see what kinds of presentations you give, but I don't even find you in the speaker's list on that page.

    This is just a FYI...

You gave this answer when someone asked you how to clean up the Pay Sales Tax Window that had never been maintained. This was your answer
"If the "pay sales tax" function was not used, you can still fix it. The payments should be coded to Sales tax payable and in the customer:job field, you need to enter the vendor to whom the tax payments are made.

Then when you go to pay sales tax, you should see all the tax due forever and you should see credits that come from the payments. You can offset them to create a zero dollar "payment" and clean up the sales tax.

You'll probably want to go through this period by period and make any needed adjustments in each period.

I'm assuming the QB books have never tied with the tax return and that it's OK to go back and change prior periods, but you may want to consult with their tax pro."
My question is this . . how do you offset them to create a zero dollar "payment" and clean up the sales tax. The answer to that would save my day.

Lisa, one other thing...What would you think if we added subforums for QuickBooks Online, QuickBooks for Mac, and QuickBooks Canadian? I don't really support those editions, but there seems to be a lot of twittering about online and mac versions. What do you think?

    Hi Lisa,
You seem very knowledgeable about QB and I thought I would ask you a question that you probably know very easily.
Simply put, what is the best way to record monthly tuition for a small private school? Currently, from what I can see (only 2nd wk on the job) the whole yr's tuition is invoiced in July. Monthly the payments come in at 1/10th of the amount (Sept-June). The biggest problem I currently see is that when I run a P&L, it appears there is a HUGE profit...you get the point.
I've done some research and seem to have come up with a few key terms - recurring sales, deferred revenue, etc.
What is the best way for this Accrual based company to recognize revenue correctly and enhance the reports being generated to properly reflect the happenings?
    Thanks much!

    Hi Lisa,

I noticed you online and you seem to know what you are talking about. My name is Lester Greenberg and I am based in Vermont.

I use the US Pro version and also the UK version as I print out checks in GBP (honoraria for people who complete online surveys for me in the UK). This was the solution that someone set up for me and frankly, it is a pain. I have to keep the two versions separate and it is a bit of a mess.

Does the US version now have a multi currency feature which will allow me to actually print checks on my UK check stock in GBP? i would also like to print checks in other currencies as I am trying to open in country accounts in several places.

    That is basically the question.

Thanks for any help you can give me.

    Lester
