Well, I tried MYOB at first, but since I used QB for years on the PC platform, I just could not get used to MYOB. Tried v.5 for Mac, and I have been pleased, but there are a couple of questions:

1) I did not see that the new version 6 will support online banking. Does anyone know if this will be soming down the pike for version 7? This seems like such an oversight, good grief!

2) It deosn't seem like there are really any substantial improvements in v.6? Has anyone upgraded, and if so what are the differences?

3) Does anyone know how to "ignore" customers in the customer list like in the PC version?

Is anyone familiar with the application called Business Manager from Private Business? It's available to use in the PC version, but I just wondered if this might ever be included in the mac version, that would be great!

No, MAC doesnt support online banking, something to do with the banks too if what I heard is true.

Quite a few improvments between 5 and 6. Esp if you are on OSX.

Cant be done, not in the MAC versions at all.

Personally I love the MAC for graphics and music, but really prefer the PC for business apps. Do you have the windows emulator? Run that with QB's 2004, or get a new Dell/Gateway/HP/Compaq for about $400 and have it be a dedicated Quickbooks computer. You'll be able to run your quickbooks for PC and be able to do online banking, make things inactive and have all of the features you may want, even Premiere Edition if you want that.

Thanks Dave.

I have thought about getting a low end PC just for this, but it's a shame I would have to just for the one application. I love OSX and my iMac, and it just doesn't make sense that the apps cost the same, yet the Mac version is 5 years behind.

One other question, is it possible to have prices automatically switch based on how many quantities are entered on an invoice? I know I can't do this on the mac version, but if this is something that is out there for the PC version, than that might just do it for me.

Thanks-

Joey

Did you try setting up groups of the same item with prices for each grouped amount as a group total instead of individually? I don't know if this would work on a MAC. It's just a thought.
