Quickbooks 5.0 - blue line in register

I have a blue line in my check register that is preventing me from entering my checks in date & check # order. What is the blue line, and how do I get rid of it?

The blue line denotes a future date and future transactions appear below the blue line. If the dates below the blue line are not in the future, check your system date which may be incorrect.
