I have just become the treasurer of a club and want to use QB. What accounts are any others using to track their financials? Obvious are dues, ect. but are there any others that you know of?
Thanks

Do you mean to track revenue (income)? Does the club take cash donations? Does the club have property or equipment that can be rented out? Does the club do any activity that it can be paid for (example a dance troop that performs for donations).

Hope that helps

All depends on a variety of factors, what the club collects from different sources, how tracking needs have to be factored in, etc.. Easiest is to follow what has been done on past financials, or seek the assistance of someone to help setup your file and give the training to go forward in the correct manner. Accounting for non-profits is generally more intensive than your normal small business bookkeeping, and tracking for preparation of the Annual Exempt Org Tax return is crucial to complete that effectively.
